Biography
A solo professional designer since 1994, Ibán Ramón started his own studio in 2001, where he works with two other designers. The studio is a space where he can develop both his design commissions and his personal projects, like his photographic works. He lives and works in Valencia, Spain, and his work has been featured internationally in galleries, magazines, and online exhibitions.

What is the one thing that gets you out of bed in the morning?
I like going out to the terrace and watch the sky; there is much to do each day.
What would be your perfect day?
A leisurely breakfast on the terrace, then take the car and drive far from the city, as far as possible.
What is the longest trip you ever took to make a photo?
Crossing over all of Europe into the Arctic Circle.
What was the hardest image you ever had to make?
I do not think I make difficult images — I make simple images that have complicated stories.
What is your favorite thing about being a photographer?
It allows me to tell stories, often my own.
